Miller House This lovely rusticated Castle Rock lava stone house was designed and built by master stonemason Robert Russell in 1902. Note Russell's typical use of fanciful gargoyles peering from the roofline. The walls are trimmed in red sandstone at each set of pilasters that outline the arched windows. Heavy stonework and intricate carved details show the influence of the Romanesque Revival style in this Foursquare house. Byron L. Miller, a realtor and banker, commissioned the house and lived here until 1948. The home is now owned by Jim L. Raughton.
