Whittier Community Meeting

  • Denver Public Library: Ford-Warren Branch Library 2825 High Street Denver, CO, 80205 United States (map)

At our next Whittier Community Meeting we will talk about:

— ICE and what we do as a community if ICE comes to town and threatens our neighbors.
— how we reach out to ALL our neighbors. We are a neighborhood of many different people, we want to engage with everyone.
— Sarah Parady will present on her project to amend our city sentencing laws to conform to state laws
— Principal DeRemer and kids from Manual High School will join us.

We meet every other month on a Saturday morning, most often at the Ford-Warren Library, 2825 High St, Denver, CO 80205. We will have a time for information/interaction with people from the city government, elected representatives, police, relevant not-for-profits, etc. We will make time for folks to talk about neighborhood joys and neighborhood concerns. Join to meet new people and make connections. Coffee and bagels are served.
